Los Santos should probably feel like a waiting room right now, with Grand Theft Auto VI marked for November 19, 2026, but GTA Online still has people clocking in like it's a second job. The May 14 to May 21 rotation gives regular players a few proper reasons to log on, not just stare at their garages. If you're trying to stack cash before the next chapter arrives, this is a good week to treat your time seriously, whether you're racing, running Salvage Yard jobs, or keeping an eye on GTA 5 Money options while planning your next big purchase.

GTA Plus gets a tidy bonus pack
GTA+ members have a decent bundle this week, especially if they like collecting vehicles and cosmetics without doing much extra work. The free Übermacht Sentinel GTS is the main grab. It's not yet clear where it'll land once the usual testing crowd has finished checking lap times and top speed, but it's still a nice-looking sports car to add to the lineup. Subscribers also get Magenta/Cyan Flip Chameleon paints, Junk Energy clothing, and the Coil Junk Energy Inductor bicycle at no cost. The 4X payout on Junk Energy Skydives is the bit that might actually pull people in for more than a quick claim-and-leave session.

Racing is where the money feels fastest
If you're not on GTA+, the week still has plenty going for it. Land Races are paying 4X GTA$, and that's the kind of multiplier that makes even casual racing worth a few hours. You'll feel the difference if you've got a strong car ready, especially in lobbies where people aren't just crashing into turn one for laughs. The HSW Time Trial is also paying 3X, so PS5 and Xbox Series X/S players with tuned rides should make that part of the routine. Simeon Contact Missions are tripled too. They're not flashy, but they're simple, quick, and good for players who'd rather grind without sweating through competitive races.

Salvage Yards are worth another look
This is also a strong week for anyone who skipped Salvage Yards when they first arrived. The properties are 40% off, which removes some of the sting from the setup cost. More importantly, the related earnings are doubled, including daily income and robbery target sales. That changes the feel of the business. It's less of a side activity and more of a sensible investment, at least for the current rotation. If you've been sitting on cash and waiting for a reason to buy in, this is probably the cleanest opening you'll get for a while.

Free cars, discounted gear, and a bit of common sense
The Diamond Casino podium vehicle is the Benefactor LM87, so it's worth taking your daily spin. Over at the LS Car Meet, the Benefactor Krieger is the Prize Ride, but you'll need to place top five in races for five days in a row. That's a bit annoying, sure, but the Krieger is still one of those cars people respect for good reason. The Gun Van is also selling the Compact EMP Launcher at 40% off, which is handy if you like stopping vehicles before they become a problem. Just don't get baited by posts claiming the full game is suddenly free forever; most of that talk is about GTA+ perks or shaky trial rumours, so if you're choosing to cheap GTA 5 Money, keep it separate from the usual clickbait noise around weekly updates.
